  1. aSF-36 was used to examine the inpatients’ QOL before hospitalization. The scores of each item were calculated by the norm-based score (Mean = 50.0)
  2. bSatisfaction was scored using Likert-type 5-points scalelike very satisfied, somewhat satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, somewhat dissatisfied, and very dissatisfied. Questionnaire for Satisfaction for Medical/Nursing Care consisted of 7 items so that the sum score was divided by 7 in order to make comparison with Satisfaction for Physical/Mental Recovery and Overall Satisfaction easy
