Light micrographs of immunostained BrdU-labeled cells in the epithelia among the three experimental groups. Positively labeled endothelia have a darkly stained nucleus and peri-nuclear immunostaining that indicates S-phase cells. The C group had the highest frequency of BrdU-labeled cells, followed by the T and then the W groups. The irregular morphology of epithelia was observed in the C and T groups. Bars: 50 μm
